Current Troupe

Tara (she/her) is a local director, teacher, and improviser. After receiving her BFA in Directing from the University of the Arts she returned to the ever-wonderful Colorado to continue her work in the theater. Founder and Producing Artistic Director of Human, Kind, Tara's work can be seen with Third Kind Improv as well as with other theaters in and around Denver.

Sebastian (he/him) is so excited to be back with his Third Kind family! He has a BFA in Acting from the University of the Arts and an MA in Education from Western State University. He loves stage combat, D&D, and watching movies with his wife.

Drea (she/her) was raised in Colorado, where she dabbled in acting and stage managed throughout high school. She attended Culinary School of the Rockies in Boulder, graduating with honors in 2011. Andrea has worked in all kinds of crazy kitchens, which helps her to think on her feet, act quickly, and laugh at herself. She hopes this culinary improv translates to the theater, her first love.

Zack (he/him) joined Third Kind in 2019, months after moving to Denver from New York City. He has more than seven years of improv experience and has performed across the country, including with "Hmm," and at the Armory. Before that, Zack was in Washington DC as a founding member of the "High Fivers."

Anakay (she/her) graduated from Adams State University in May 2019 with a B.A. in Theatre with a double emphasis in Performance and History/Literature. New to the Denver area, she’s been getting into the theatre scene and is excited at the chance to join Third Kind and all it has to offer. She’s been improvising for several years and loves the safe space it provides to laugh and make fun of yourself as it helps keep her from taking life too seriously.

Scott (he/him) graduated from Arizona State University in 2022 with a BA in Political Science. Scott moved to Denver to pursue a career in the sustainability industry. However, he also has over 5 years of improv experience with an emphasis on short-form technique. Scott is grateful to have been selected to join Third Kind where there is a friendly and hilarious community of fellow improvers.

Bones (he/him) was born in El Campo, Texas and abandoned to a shelter to be euthanized. Thankfully he was saved by a wonderful rescue that brought him to Colorado where he met his new mom, Tara! He now works hard as Tara's service dog. Though he's new to improv, he eagerly jumps into any scene he can. When he's not in rehearsal, he loves chewing on sticks, chasing his tail, and being an overall menace.

Chiquita (she/her) is a very good girl who loves her mumsy and her improv friends! She enjoys coming to rehearsal, where she observes from her pillow and passes judgement on lesser creatures. All hail.
